I recently ready a stimulating article in the 'New Yorker' of the growing interest in analysis/psychotherapy in China.
I find this to be a wonderful opportunity for dialogue between the Western world and China. It can hopefully enrich both, and provide deeper insights into the uses of therapy within other cultures.
That being said, I'd welcome any links/comments with Chinese people who are interested in psychotherapy and wanted to know more about my experiential approach.
Although I tend to focus on addiction/alcohol....my psychotherapeutic views then refocus on the deeper narrative / wounding ... therefore trauma, losses and depression etc. emerge as underpinning issues that must be addressed.
